Tritiated Water Invades Our Bodies, Page 1)

It Becomes Part of Us and Destroys Us

       Our silly EPA is in denial about what happens to the Tritiated Water released by Nuclear Power Plants for reasons too numerous to mention and motives that are a cultural disease. The most important thing to understand about it is the fact that all of our soft tissue is REPLACED about every 18 months, the experts say. This means that every month our body requires that what we eat and drink at the rate 80 percent of our body weight (that is our body weight less 20 percent).  A 200 pound person needs to replace 160 pounds of water content (that is part of the body) over the 18 month period at a rate of 8 and 7/8 pounds per month, (that is 160 pounds Divided by 18 months is 8 and 7/8 pounds per month).

        The EPA believes (erroneously) that someone drinking the Tritiated Water will pass it through the body in a few days. They can not realize that the harm does not go away in a few days because it is always contaminated water that is continuously released and consumed. They do not consider that a fraction of the water becomes part of the person’s body. The fraction that becomes a part of the soft tissue can be ANYPLACE in the body and can reside there for a pretty ling time while doing harm. Consider, for example, Tritiated Saline Solution in the blood of the person. The bad blood circulates through the entire body many thousands of times and can impart harm to the artery walls causing Aneurisms.

      How about the Tritiated Saline Solution releasing electrons into the brain tissue continuously giving false electronic signals that cause confusion and freaky behavior or simply destroying memory or causing a loss of working brain cells? How about harm to the kidneys, the eyes or damage to the Liver? Since the blood visits ALL of the living cells in the body on a regular basis and is involved in the replacement process for all the tissues that are being replaced, one can end up with Radio-Active Body Tissues that self destruct when the Tritium decays to a funny Helium atom that the body does not know what to do with in addition to loosing an important part of the body.

        Some day it may turn out that Autism is caused by all the loose electrons that are injected by the Tritiated Blood and/or by the decay of brain tissue caused by a cell suicide. It may turn out that all the Tritiated Water that we consume causes harm to our creative faculties and results in bad scientists and administrators like those in the EPA, the DOE, the NRC and the Presidency.

        In the old days, we were taught to “Error on The Safe Side”. It is tragic that this is not the case at the EPA and a host of USA Agencies today. Our culture now insists that errors are not being made, and therefore, there is no “safe side” to worry about. The belief in the non existent Global Warming and the foolish Ravages of Climate Change are considered activity that is on the Safe Side as proof of the proper beliefs and actions. The science is “settled”, they say, by thousands of scientists and the radiation from Tritium is a non event because it is so weak.

        A really good example of how bad the situation is, is when a body builder (and Actor, Arnold) as the Governor of California, can proclaim that anti Nuclear Believers are “in Denial” and Nobody goes after him for such a statement. California has a “no Nuclear Building Policy”, of course, which proves that they are “Environmental” and willing to suffer “Rolling Blackouts to prove it. But, they are “in Denial” that a large percentage of their power comes from one of the largest Nuclear Power facilities in the world across the border in Arizona. Why is it that just about everything is political and any sense of responsibility for the truth is “in Denial”?

         The FDA, the HHS and the CDC have become unable to take control of their purpose in the field of safety in health matters. It is very easy for them to point to the clean water activities of the EPA.

         How can it be that hundreds of thousands of the Health Professionals and Scientists have cast a blind eye and a tin ear toward the Nuclear Power Industry, The evil discharge of millions of Curies of Tritiated Water into our drinking water over all the years and have no responsibility for all the harm that is being done and which will be done in the future as a result of it.

       The good news is that “Cap and Trade” has died a political death. But, nobody realizes that these guys will get it done anyway by doing it with another name and another way in peace-meal and with hidden activity. This author is likely to be the only guy in the USA who worries about all the beer bottled around Saint Louis being contaminated with Tritiated Water from a contaminated river that nobody is testing for Radio-Activity because the EPA says it is OK to discharge it. We believe in what the EPA tells us and we trust the many scientists who believe that CO2 is Pollution as well. However, believing that something is true does not make it so.         A quick search on Tritiated-Water yielded 72,000 results, too many for an old man to look at. And a search on Tritiated-Blood only 2 results, one of which was this web site. Since blood is easily 90% (or more) a saline solution of water and Tritiated Water is in most of our drinking water in relatively high concentrations, I hope you will look into this and quickly devise a way to develop and introduce it  ( a test )  for wide spread use at the earliest possible time.

Hopefully you can devise a way to avoid $25.000 dollar scintillation machines, but if not, that's ok too.

     Looking more, it seems that there are about 5 liters of blood in a human body and it takes about 1 minute to circulate to all parts of the body. This means that the entire body is exposed to the circulating, electron emitting bad blood 1440 times per day, every day, while the Tritium decays and shoots out high speed electrons in all directions which finally slow down and do harm to the tissues and leave behind free radicals and Funny Helium that has no way to get out of the body.

      And, the various body parts and tissues that stay in one place and emit the additional radiation until the Tritium finally decays leave behind the same harmful residue. Tritium has a half life of 12 and ½ years so that the 18 month life of the soft tissues before being exchanged with new tissue will receive an untold number of damaging impulses as will the bad, radiating, circulating blood.

      We need 3 things to look into this:

1)     Whole body scanners, that look like sun tan machines, at $ 50,000 dollars each, that can detect the radiation that leaves the body, and:

2)      Blood measurement gadgets, of a method, complexity and cost yet to be determined, for mass distribution and use as soon as possible.

We need from the media, an admission the bad existence of Nuclear Reactors and a national (and world) agreement that the use of them should be stopped immediately.

      If one thinks about the complexity and fragility of the brain or the lungs and the likelihood and reality of having Radio-Active Blood circulating through them every minute of every day it is sure to be causing damage.

      If one made a survey of all medical doctors and researchers and asked these questions,

A) Taking the Hoffmann Essays, the speculative content of this web site along with your study and experience, “Would you be able to state that the ingestion of Tritiated Water could be harmful to the Human Body and/or the Human Genome?”

B)  Is it possible that many of the ills experienced by your patients could be caused by the consumption of Tritiated Water?

What do you think should be done about this?

      There is a lot more below on this site under “Tritiated Water Releases” that includes a revealing back and forth with the EPA, the Ultimate agency in denial about CO2 and Tritiated Water. The EPA was a GREAT Agency until they were infected by the “Global Warming Virus”.

     A quick Bing look at “causes of DNA damage” yielded 6,300.000 results and this author does not have enough time in his life to seriously do a sophisticated breakdown of such a big number. It may well be that Tritiated water is the behind the scenes cause and nobody has done enough work to figure that out.

All of the effort was made for the benefit of the authors to prove to themselves how bad it is and then simply putting it in books or an archive that few ever read. This has been going on for 50 years and none of it ever gets to the level of legislative hearings because many of the authors are dead. A good example would be all the work of Dr. John W. Gofman that is buried in the web site build around him but hardly ever sees the light of legislative attempts to change things. In the activist business, when you’re dead you’re dead.

It is going to require an “ Act of Congress” to undo the “Atoms for Peace” Laws which is a big deal. And, all the science behind the need to shut them down has never gotten to the congress so far, this is all a waste of time and money. Oxygen Production From Algae ( Is Tritiated Water killing the Algae ? )

           Earlier it was pointed out that the classical (wrong) global warming believers were attacking CO2 and Water: That’s 2 out of 3 of the ingredients for “Life” in the equation CO2 + H2O + sunshine = Food for Life.

And, with Algae being “The Most Important Organism”, and having a relatively simple and fragile DNA that Radio-Active Tritiated Water can destroy, it adds the prospect that OXYGEN is also under attack by the Nuclear Power producers releasing all the bad water because the Ocean Algae produces about 330 Billion Tons of O2  that “Life” in the ocean needs to live. So the equation really should be ( CO2 + H2O + Sunshine = Food for Life + O2 ). Life needs the O2 to live.

        Ace Hoffman’s book “The Code Killers” means to this author that the Nuclear Power Industry is “Killing our DNA Code”. It means the Nuclear Reactors are killing us. And now, with the ability to kill our “most important organism” (Algae), all life suffers the possibility of death from asphyxiation and starvation because the green plants on land can also be destroyed by Radio-Active Tritiated Water and our food supply is at risk even if we don’t go fishing. People should actively promote going to the site    www.acehoffman.org  and get the facts and buy his book.

        Therefore, because of this authors advanced age and Ace’s youth (at 53 years of age) he is asking Ace to dig into the harm that Tritiated Water can do to Algae and all the green plants and dig into the structure of Algae and the Chloroplasts (and the like) as part of his effort as well as adding his 2 essays at the back of his book to make it easy for people to find and read without using links and downloading. It doesn’t matter that Ace has no PHD in Nuclear Physics and Biochemistry because the effort he has put forth on his book goes far beyond the effort that the PHDs put forth to get their PHDs.

        Furthermore, it is none of this authors business what the folks at the “Gulf Restoration Network” do to make the world a better place because this soapbox is very small and does not have an expectation of a long life.  It doesn’t matter what one says here because it only goes to a short mailing list.

        “That old bird in Pittsburgh” is nothing more than that plus the fact that his use of the computer and the internet is a legacy of his daughter, Kerri Marak, who dropped of a computer 18 years ago with the comment that “You are a computer illiterate and this will help you”. It was an Everex 1800 with a huge IBM, 20 Megabyte hard drive and a minimum of software! Kerri’s sudden death was from a Brain Aneurysm on 7/15/10 in Charlotte NC which is surrounded by 10 Nuclear Reactors that load up all their drinking water with the Radio-Active Water. And, the fact that 1 out of 15 people now have Aneurysms puts this author into a new search for truth that also starts with the high rate of Autism.

      Led light sales promotion will continue because of the good folks in Vermont and Hew Hampshire have burned the nuclear bridge when they voted to shut down the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant. They need the lights.

     Also, it is hoped that the Newspaper Folks in the Carolinas will finally publicize the harm from drinking all the Tritiated Water. They can provide some information about how bad the situation is to their readers. We should hope and pray that Radio-Active Tritiated Water does not cause Autism and Aneurysms. There should be some serious work to try to find out exactly what the trouble really is. A search for causes of cerebral aneurysm yielded 832,000 results. Is Tritiated Water a cause?

      The Nuclear Industry is not subject to the idea that “where there is smoke there is fire”. They deny both the smoke and the fire. The antinuclear Activists have been loosing the debate for 50 years because of the high quality and consistently publicized “Weak” radiation from Tritiated Water and never admitting just how much is continuously released. The high quality of the denial about the harm from the collection of solid nuclear waste and the anti-CO2 promotion are both very well produced and funded.

      We can only hope that everyone will understand that we need to shine the light of reason upon: 1) the truth about our wonderful food growing gas Carbon Dioxide, 2) the horrors of Radio-Active Tritiated Water must be understood and stopped,  3) the good fact that Water Vapor is the Principal Greenhouse Gas that uses energy from the Sun to protect us all from the cold and hostile vacuum of outer space and finally, 4) we need to stop the production of all the very harmful radio active waste from Nuclear Reactors.

Radio-Active Algae

(Algae is the “Most Important Organism”)

     Since Ocean Life is about 30 times larger than Human Life, it makes sense to consider the source of food upon which Ocean Life depends. There are about 5,000 species of brown Algae, 2,000 of Red Algae and 300 Green Algae species. During the process of Photosynthesis, all the Algae releases about 330 Billion Tons of Oxygen per year, they say, while a heck of a lot of CO2 is consumed when the energy from the Sun is put to use making the Algae. Much of the Oxygen is consumed by the Ocean life which in turn releases a lot of CO2 as a result of the process of living and decaying after death.

        In the educational system of the world, the Most Important Organism, (Algae) never gets much credit for supporting all that life in the oceans and producing all that Oxygen. We certainly have NOT considered it as a possible fuel source and the only information built up so far has to do with a small use as food for a small fraction of the public who know how to read and have the resources to search for it and purchase some of it. The fear that it is seriously being contaminated by Radio-Active Tritiated Water which is quite harmful to the Algae itself, and/or all the living people and other life that consume it, is quite remote.  For the owners of all the Nuclear Reactors to consider that the bad water that they produce is a threat to all Human and Ocean Life is asking entirely too much. Only some fringe environmentalist would worry about it.  The iron clad blanket that surrounds Tritiated Water is so solid that NO ONE is working on the exposé or the hard laboratory work that is necessary. Talk about DENIAL, Lies and Political stupidity: If there was ever a bad idea it is in denial to the existence of the potential and very profound consequences that will ultimately show their ugly head, this is it.

       Every once and awhile, a report about a reduction in the quantity of Plankton in the Ocean shows up and the people who report it have no idea that it might indeed be caused by the Tritiated water causing the to many of the fragile life forms to commit cell suicide when their hydrogen atoms shoot out an electron at 1/3 the speed of light and revert to a useless, funny, inert form of Helium. The radiation is described by the EPA (and a thousand nuclear experts) as WEAK radiation. Ace Hoffman’s essays on the subject are available but hardly read by anybody.           Bringing Algae to the surface (it is found down about 200 to 300 feet deep) and drying it to make “Dry Algae Cake Fuel” is still a good idea because it can still be used to make electric power and make the need for Nuclear Power to be drastically reduced which will stop the Tritiated Water production. That may be a better use than making Oilgae Fuel for transportation purposes because the electric plants will no doubt be used in the future to charge the batteries of electric cars. That is why the Pro Nuclear types like “Clean fuel” to be used by utilities which will be expensive and Nuclear fuel will then become practical. It is a looser now and always has been.

     It is safe to say that the US DOE will never consider Dry Algae Cake Fuel for the Electric utilities because it would be a “Clean” fuel but still produces CO2 but a little more water so it could qualify as “clean” until the CO2 is fully exonerated as this author has said that it is already clean.

     There is always something that can be done to stop the harm that the government causes. The denial about the use of LED (Light Emitting Diode) Lights to lower the power used at the electric utilities by 30% is a really good thing to do because of the high efficiency and long life. Admitting that 100 years of combustion of coal and investing to scrub it and reduce acid and ash has already made coal a good clean fuel and there is no need to “sequester” the CO2 because it is mother natures environmental wonder gas that grows all our food and all the food for all life on the planet.

    So now we have another tool to gat rid of the Nukes. TRUTH, and LED Lights, and Finally Dry Algae Cake Fuel. There is an urgent requirement for the scientific community to dig into the study of the damage caused by Tritiated Water to Humans, on Algae and on all Ocean Life and particularly to the newborn Babies of any kind when they are growing and making their growing bodies with a lot of harmful Tritiated water. I am so sad to think of the loss of my 49 year old daughter, Kerri Marak, to a brain aneurysm on 7/15/2010 in Charlotte NC because of my failed work to get rid of the bad water from the 10 reactors around Charlotte that got no help from the Newspapers  and the various government agencies that were contacted. Solid Nuclear Waste Storage

(Questions to ask the NRC)

( Don’t Get Bent Out of Shape when the NRC says no )

       “Getting rid” of the solid Nuclear Waste that has been collected at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant after it is shut down at the end of 2012 is a serious problem for which there is no answer at the present time. The material removed from the reactor at shut down has to sit in storage with the rest of the accumulated waste at the site for at least 5 years until the most highly active materials loose their most dangerous radio-activity. Then, one must keep all of it safely in storage until a definitive answer to the question has been determined.

        Moving it to temporary storage in Utah has problems and the 8 utilities who set up the site may not want any materials from Vermont Yankee. The earth-quake fault under the Yucca Mountain site has been a setback. The NRC is unable to state what will happen and they think about what the French did as a model. The French do a simple COP-OUT and are keeping the stuff at the site where it was produced, forever or processing it and dumping the rest into the North Sea. That method has serious questions and in America, that was not considered as an alternative when all the licenses to have the plants were approved and the licenses issued years ago.

        Like so many of our government actions, the 50 year denial of the “Solid Radio-Active Waste Problem” was never actively addressed because of the politics, weakness and ignorance of our legislators at all levels including those at the state level. Most of the scientists that got us into trouble are dead and the anti-Nuclear activists always loose in the struggle. And, the stalemate that exists needs a solution: some day, long after you and I are dead, gone and buried.  The President controls the NRC (along with the 3 majority parties on the board, against the 2 who are not in the majority) and NOBODY has enough power to tell them what to do like shutting all the Nukes Down. It is an “Ignorance is Bliss” situation and always will be. Ignorance about the horrors of the vast amount of Radio-Active Tritiated Water released into most of our drinking water along with the Denial that the solid nuclear waste storage problem is too big AND COMPLICATED to ever be solved.       Our dead scientists chose to use Water to hold down the rampant Neutrons always tending to get away from them and Carbon control rods to shut down. The Russians used Carbon as both the shield and to shut down. But, The carbon burns in a runaway situation and everything is lost with much released radio-active materials spread far and wide.

We are glad (?) that we manufacture dumb Tritiated Water and release it rather than using the dumb Russian carbon.

1)       Our scientists of today have not considered the use of adding hot “Liquid Coal Tar Pitch” (which turns into a strong solid at room temperature) into the so called “Dry Casks” which will turn them off (stopping neutrons) by drastically reducing heat out put. And create more safety when in transport.

2)       Our Scientists do not add carbon microspheres (made from coal tar pitch) to the solid radio active spent fuel water storage pool (thereby drastically reducing neutron activity) at the shut down Connecticut Yankee Nuclear (shut down 13 years ago). That would make it safer against the loss of the cooling water (which would be a disaster) and thereby make it a much more safe situation that does not produce so much heat and evaporate so much Tritiated Water into the neighborhood air along with dastardly air born radio-active gases that are not acknowledged to the nearby residents.

3)       Our well educated, smug scientists after all this time have not used carbon spacers between fuel sections so as to cut down continued interaction between each set of fuel rods acting on all the other sections in the pool?

4)        How come we want to place all the dangerous (and highly radio-Active) “Spent Fuel” in a concentrated location instead of mixing in finely ground powder into carbon composite inside carbon spheres and widely distributing then all over the world and at the bottom of the oceans?

                           Hopefully the 500 e-mail legislative recipients at Vermont and Hew Hampshire will transmit these ideas to the President, the NRC and DOE to see if there is anybody home at those 3 offices.

        To displace the 540 Mega Watts with 3 watt Led Lights requires 18 million bulbs that reduce the lighting load by 27 watts for each Led Light that substitutes for a 30 watt incandescent bulb.

        A 6 watt Led Light will do the job of a 60 watt incandescent bulb and 9 million units would be required. The 240,000 Vermont households plus the 475.000 New Hampshire households totals 715,000 households. Dividing the 18 million 3 watt bulb requirement by the 715,000 households yields 25 of the 3 watt bulbs to do the job. A mix of 20 of the 3 watt plus 5 of the 6 watt bulbs is suggested to be on the safe side.

       The USA needs to have 18 Billion 3 Watt Led Lights to lower the national load by 540,000 Mega Watts of lighting load. This will improve the USA grid a lot. We do not have a national plan to do it.

       The issue is “Can Vermont and New Hampshire get it all done in a 30 month time frame”?

 If 25 of the 3 watt bulbs cost about $ 500.00 and they reduce the household lighting bill by about $ 500.00 the first year (and each of the following 10 years because of the long life of the bulbs) will the residents get busy as soon as possible and get the job done? It sounds too good to be true. All paid for by the utilities, basically.

       As of May 1^st, 2010 environmentalist R. J. Gramm of  Pittsburgh has lived for 27,790 days and has invested at least 300 days developing this project as a public service on top of 15 years getting the story straight on “Global Warming” and some understanding about how great Carbon Dioxide is and the way that the Sun and the weather works to keep us all safe.

       He has asked each and every one of the 500 Vermont and New Hampshire legislators to get busy and do yourself a favor and fill your household up with Led Lights ASAP. Then ask all residents to do the same thing so that Vermont Yankee will stop producing all the Radio-Active Tritiated Water they dump into the Connecticut River and give themselves a financial gain for each household in excess of $ 4,000.00 over the next 10 years.

Obviously, investing in Led Lights is a far superior investment than buying a 2 reactor Nuclear (waste) Generating Plant.

        Now that the Vermont State Legislature has stopped the license extension of the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant, it is a simple matter to find a modern substitute for the replacement of 540 Megawatt of electric capacity. A 30 watt equivalent Led Light Bulb substitute is only 3 watts which means that for each 3 watt led light bulb there is a savings of 27 watts. So, how many bulbs are required?  540/30 = 18 million bulbs.

   18 million bulbs x 3 watts per bulb = (less than) 54 Megawatts of power instead of 540 MW!

       This author has checked out  http://store.earthled.com/collections/types?q=DesignoLux  and a 4 pack costs less than $ 100.00 and they will last around 10 years and pay for themselves in less than 1 year.

       What to do with the 700 tons of dangerous radio-active solid waste now sitting on the property raises it’s ugly head. The model is the 390 tons at Connecticut Yankee, shut down in 1998, and still sitting there near Meridian.

A Deal is a Deal in Vermont

     Forty Years ago the Vermont folks set up the possibility that the Vermont Yankee Atomic Power Plant would be closed when the license for the plant expired.

     Sure enough the Vermont Legislature voted to shut it down at the end of 2012 when the license expires as a practical matter. The plant is leaking a lot of Radio-Active Tritiated Water in addition to so called normal releases blessed by the EPA. Nobody knows about the normal releases and there has never been an environmental impact study or any epidemiological studies. It is bad stuff that tastes like normal water and then becomes part of your body and destroys you from within.

     The nuclear plant owners do not understand that a deal is a deal. They claim that they are going to “Appeal”? The Tritiated Water being released by Vermont Yankee must be causing mental problems for the nuclear believers who drink the Radio-Active water from the Connecticut River and they are in denial like the EPA.

     The nuclear owners also do not understand that they have been made obsolete by these high tech and wonderful LED LIGHTS that that are quickly being manufactured and installed around the world. They have made the incandescent lights obsolete. The lighting load is now being reduced by 90% and getting the same light out put at the same time. America is late on the Led Lights because our illustrious DOE is late in realizing the many advantages that they have over the funny, Energy Star”, mercury filled, dangerous “Compact Fluorescent Lamps” that are failing all over the place. Led Lights are for Traffic Lights and Christmas decorations according to DOE.

      AMERICA needs some electrical firms to vigorously manufacture and promote the sale and use of these long life, highly efficient, cool running bulbs so that America can be a LEADER in the installation and use of these 21^st century electrical grid devices. They are truly revolutionary. Nobody knows about them: DOE and the EPA both like Nuclear Power and they both think that CO2 is pollution.

Vermont Yankee Shut Down

240,634  Vermont  Households  x  30 pieces, 3 watt bulbs, per household  =  7.22 million bulbs

If  each bulb reduces the power by 27 watts per bulb x 30 bulbs  x   240,634  =  195 Mega Watts.

The power required is only 3 watts  x  30 bulbs  x   240,634 households  =  22 Mega Watts.

New Hampshire Households Using the same simple rule for a 30 watt equivalent Led Light at  3 watts:

  27 watts saved per bulb x 30 bulbs per household  x 474,606 households = 383 Mega Watts replaced.

Reduced Power needed  =  3 Watts x 30 bulbs per x 474,606nhouseholds = 43 Mega Watts.

Bulbs needed = 30 x 474,606 = 14 million bulbs.

   Vt, N H Summary:

1)      The 7.2 million lights purchased by the 240,634 Vermont households reducing the load on Vermont Yankee by  195 Mega Watts and the 14 million bulbs installed by 474,606 New Hampshire households further reducing the load by 383 Megawatts will lower energy consumption by about  195 + 383 =  578 Mega Watts of lighting load in the area and surely eliminate the need for the horrible Vermont Yankee Nuclear Plant.

2)      The 21.2 million bulbs will cost less than about $ 20.00 each in such a big quantity and will pay for themselves in less than 1 year and then continue to keep the lighting cost low for an additional 10 years. A 30 bulb household will save $ 600.00 the first year to pay for the bulbs followed by a 10 year total benefit of at least $ 6,000.00 in reduced power costs and serve as a tax free income bonanza.

3)      Vermont Yankee will stop generating the highly radio-active nuclear waste and the approximated 750 tons of waste that has been accumulated since the beginning will become a liability to be coped with by the federal government. Based upon the 390 tons of waste from the closure of Connecticut Yankee Plant shut down in 1996, which is sitting in a pool of water since then, there is not much hope that the Vermont Yankee situation will be any different.

4)      There is the good news that the daily releases of Radio-Active Tritiated Water will be greatly reduced. There will, however, be a leaking of a lesser amount from the 750 ton collection of highly radio-active fuel rods that will continue to be radio-active for millions of years. There is a long list of solid, liquid and gaseous effluents from the 750 tom pile that can not be stopped and which will find it’s way into the area and into the Connecticut river.

5)      The basic effect of the purchase of  the 21.2 million Led Lights at a cost of  less than $ 424 Million Dollars (paid for by the utility sending reduced lighting bills the first year) will provide a positive $ 4.24 Billion Dollar legacy  over the next 9 or 10 years that will help everybody to live better. And, the benefits will spur more power consumption reduction projects that really can improve the way of life in Vermont and New Hampshire.

6)      As of April, 2010 thru December of 2012 when the reactor is shut down, there are 33 months that are available for the citizens of Vermont and New Hampshire to consider, purchase, install and observe the power reductions that the Led Lights will provide. It is a “sooner is better” project because of the great return that these wonderful long lasting lights will provide.

7)      Hopefully, the legislative bodies of these 2 states will consider a way to assist in the purchase of the Led Lights with tax credits, grants and loans to expedite the completion of the power reduction as soon as possible so that the utilities will have an easy time providing the power in 2013 with out having to find or build any new power facilities. Reducing the Radio-Active Tritiated Water releases is a good thing to do as soon as possible.

       I hope U-All will look at what I have to say at www.LedLightsForUSA.com  and then forcefully insist that the national agencies responsible for all the various kinds of pollution that is put into the Ole Miss River Basin and the Lake Norman watershed do their job. Get the opinion of all of your staff members after you read Ace Hoffman's essays about the harm that the Tritiated water can do.

       The new wrinkle,  that nobody is doing anything about, is RADIO-ACTIVE TRITIATED WATER from Nuclear Power Plants that is contaminating essentially ALL of our drinking water in the Ole Miss Water Basin and also another batch starting at Lake Norman and  both flows finally discharged into the Gulf in large quantities on a continuous basis for the last 40 years or more.

       All the other contaminants like industrial toxins, raw sewage, cattle ranch run-off, agricultural chemicals and road salt are obviously out of control and not really stopped by the responsible parties. Starting with the EPA, and the clean water responsibility of at least 5 more specific agencies, there is nothing but inept and under funded activities that only spend time saying what a good job they are doing so they can increase their own funding..

       One can notice that you ask for "Donations" to help you in the struggle and that is proof that the real legally responsible parties are not doing their job. It reminds one of the way the political system looks at the immigration problem and the deficit funding of Medicare.

 " Water leaving the Mississippi as it goes past New Orleans amounts to 60 Billion Gallons per day during the mid-winter low flow and increases to 210 billion gallons per day during spring and summer. Mixed in with (part of) the flow is 1.4 billion gallons per day of Tritiated Water contaminated at 20,000 Pico Curies per liter from each of the 31 reactors discharging into the basin. At the low flow period, this amounts to a 2.3% level of contamination by the Radio-Active Tritiated Water and would amount to 469 Pico Curies of Tritium per liter for each and every liter going past New Orleans at 200,000 Cubic Feet per Second at low flow.  The same thing, and worse, is happening at the Great Lakes and other watersheds."

 Also note that the Tritiated Water from an additional 10 Nuclear reactors starting at Lake Norman (near Charlotte) also add to the Gulf Stream and heads up to the East Coast vacation beaches.

       When one looks at your staff of fine young Americans (with an e-mail address and a photo) it is clear that you are innocent about the potential harm that the enemies of the environment can do to your organization by hiring them away from you and then indoctrinating them into the ways of political and institutional behavior.  

This thought is mentioned because there are so many people working at making the Gulf get better and not really making any progress. They are your competitors for all practical purposes and all of you are not making any real progress because the bad guys can do more harm faster than you can make the improvements. 

       Consider, for example, the "Tulane Environmental Law Clinic" who talk about laws while the air in New Orleans smells bad because of the "Canals"  up above the 9th ward that collect the raw sewage pumped up from all the sewers, and is mixed with all the Mississippi river water and shot out into the gulf. The Tulane Clinic looks the other way. There must not be any laws that protect the Gulf waters. Worse than that, ALL of it then proceeds out the mouth of the Gulf and is mixed with the Gulf Stream so that the bathers along the entire East Coast can feel the nice warm stream water contaminated with all the toxins, sewage and Radio-Active Tritiated Water in each and every wave that the swimmers enjoy. It is so horrible that one of the worlds largest collection of Hypoxic Zones is constantly leaking into the Gulf stream and on it's way north and then across the Atlantic to Europe.

       I hope you will get back to me with a plan to help America and the World to get rid of Radio-Active Tritiated Water as part of the good work you are doing.

 North Carolina Follow Up

 ( The 3^rd e-mail in a series  to help Nuclear Infected North Carolina )

     This author knows that un- solicited e-mails are mostly treated as SPAM. That is the way one handles all incoming mail and it doesn’t take all that long to scan the spam list before deleting them all. Everyone so far placed on the e-mailing list for attempting to generate interest on the North Carolina Nuclear Infection where Charlotte is surrounded by 10 reactors that produce a long list of radio active solids, liquids and gases hade not yet responded. The liquids and the gases are “released” into the neighborhoods and the solids are accumulated on site and continue to emit liquids and gases that are continuously released because there is no way to stop the production or to capture them.

      As a result of 50 years of denial that all this bad stuff is continuously produced and released, the various agencies on the basic mail list (built up over the years) are skilled recipients that can say “all incoming mail from that source were never read”. Your’s truly can accept that. This author has found over the years that sooner or later people will do the right thing.

     So, therefore the list for North Carolina is increased to include many of the health and environmental related names that are on the 200 person list from exonerateco2.com as follows.         It would seem that the Food and Drug folks would be interested in Radio-Active, Tritiated Water releases  used in food preparation. And, the Health and Human Services people should care about the health effects of drinking Tritiated Water which is so wide spread that it can not be avoided. These new people that are spread far and wide across America, are being asked to assist the people in North Carolina in any way that they can by contacting their superiors and expressing fear on behalf of the Carolina people who do not know about Tritiated Water, The health effects of it and the many reactors inside the Carolinas releasing it into their drinking water.

1)  Is it true that Tritiated Water acts like normal pure water which our bodies accept except it emits beta radiation for a long time?
Answer: Yes this is true, it acts chemically like "normal "water.  Its natural decay rate gives it a half life of 12.3 years.  Half life is However the natural turnover of water in the body results in a biological half life of 2-10 days depending on water intake which replaces it.
2)  Is it true that this Radio Active water can not be filtered out and requires an expensive scintillation machine to detect it?
Answer: Filtration can be accomplished but is highly specialized and expensive, not on a scale available for public water systems.  Liquid scintillation counting is used to determine the quantity of tritium present in water.
3)  Is it true that the body can accept the Tritiated Water and make it a part of the normal tissue replacement that the body uses many times in it’s normal cycle of life?
Answer: Yes.  Water is distributed throughout the body in about 2 hours including any tritiated water.
4)  Can the part of the body that has used this Tritiated Water suffer damage from the constant radiation it receiver from the Radio-Active water?
Answers: Yes,  there is a small risk of damage.   Radioactivity carries some risk of cancer dependent on its dose and the organ affected.  No one single organ is affected by water, the dose will be spread out over the body. 1)  Is it true that Tritiated Water acts like normal pure water which our bodies accept except it emits beta radiation for a long time?
Answer: Yes this is true, it acts chemically like "normal "water.  Its natural decay rate gives it a half life of 12.3 years.  Half life is However the natural turnover of water in the body results in a biological half life of 2-10 days depending on water intake which replaces it. ( your so-called biological half life doesn’t hold water. SIC. ) The body continuously replaces soft tissue and water is used to build the tissue and/or to store energy in the Liver or in storage as fat. So five minutes after one takes a drink, SOME OF The Tritiated Water is going to be part of you for a long time and is radiating SOME part of your body the very first day. Since the contamination of the water is a constant level of contamination situation, it doesn’t matter because the water that replaces it is also contaminated. This is bad news. )
2)  Is it true that this Radio Active water can not be filtered out and requires an expensive scintillation machine to detect it?
Answer: Filtration can be accomplished but is highly specialized and expensive, not on a scale available for public water systems. ( This is more Bad News. )  Liquid scintillation counting is used to determine the quantity of tritium present in water.
3)  Is it true that the body can accept the Tritiated Water and make it a part of the normal tissue replacement that the body uses many times in it’s normal cycle of life?
Answer: Yes.  Water is distributed throughout the body in about 2 hours including any tritiated water. ( This is the same Bad News as in Answer1).  )
4)  Can the part of the body that has used this Tritiated Water suffer damage from the constant radiation it receiver from the Radio-Active water?
Answers: Yes,  there is a small risk of damage.   Radioactivity carries some risk of cancer dependent on its dose and the organ affected.  No one single organ is affected by water, the dose will be spread out over the body. ( This is more bad news. Answer: None is 'distributed' on purpose. ( So now the response has degenerated into an out-right Lie. ALL OF  THE RELEASES are known by everybody but this responder and the General Public. It is distributed because the reactors are distributed across America and all of them dump the Tritiated Water into the nearby rivers or other bodies of water. Fresh pure water is used to dilute the contamination to the ridiculously high EPA Standard. In some places the bad water is mixed with water contaminated up-stream (Like water in the Mississippi River which ends up at New Orleans with almost 3% Tritiated Water at low winter flow.)    Some leaks from nuclear reactors or is present from natural sources or from previous atmospheric nuclear testing in the 50's and 60's. (Leaks are Very common but nobody is out there trying to find out how bad it is without court action.)     4/30/09 Response  from the EPA  is cast in Bronze along with the required response from yours truly. The EPA response is obviously a classic denial which will be easy to destroy with truth and honesty that is not usually possible when this kind of stuff is presented by skilled Pro Nuclear respondents.

       The EPA was informed that the 2 Hoffman Essays were part of the reply to the EPA answers to the 9 Questions and the Author posted the list here so that they can think hard about the carbon credit and pollution stuff while they also evaluate the Peden Op-ED as well.

        It is likely that some of the DOE, NRC and EPA big guns will have to be brought into the subject if they actually have something to say. It remains to be seen if there are any people on the list of 175 people that will actually attempt to do something about this. E-mails, after all is said and done, are hardly more than spam.   Attention South Carolina Residents

A Pittsburgh Author has discovered that 6 of the 10 Nuclear Reactors (actually 11 because Oconee has 3 reactors) that encircle Charlotte are located in South Carolina and have a big influence on the health of the citizens of Columbia as well because of the reactors that dump their Radio-Active Tritiated Water up stream that feed the Columbia water supply. The Reactors in South Carolina are listed as follows:

The up stream contaminators of Columbia water comes from the 2 McGuire reactors that dump into Lake Norman in North Carolina which then sends the bad water to Charlotte and then down river to Columbia and then out into the Atlantic Ocean.

        The principal offender hurting South Carolina with this horrible cover-up is Duke Power which releases 75 % of the contaminated water in the state from Catawba #1 and # 2 and from the  3 Oconee reactors. That means that 7 reactors are contaminating 4.8 Million people (686,000 people per reactor).

      This is a bad situation because NONE of the Atomic Power Plants in America are willing to admit that they knowingly release all of this Radio-Active Water into most of America’s water supply and that some of it is absorbed by the human body as “normal” pure water when in fact it is Tritiated Water that can become part of the body soft tissues in the continuous tissue replacement process that we all experience. Most of out soft tissue is replaced every 19 months and water that we drink is an important part of the building process.

     The Department Of Energy KNOWS that this is happening and they have built up a fake genome expertise th fight in the area of potential harm to our DNA. It is a waste time and money publishing the Genome information that they did not produce. The NRC also KNOWS that this Tritiated Water is being released and has the power (with the assistance of the Office of The President and the power of the 1956 Atomic Energy Act. Everybody feeds the phony cover story to the EPA which then becomes responsible for the limit of 20,000 pico Curie per second per Liter of water based upon faulty Hiroshima Bomb death information. The EPA is stuck in the 20^th Century even though they are 21^st Century people.

      This is all quite hard for this author to write about because it is so heavy, far reaching and important to America. It required 5 years while preparing the www.exonerateco2.com( now being re-built) web site only to discover such a burdensome story that requires a $ 25.000.00 Dollar Liquid Scintillation Counting Machine to measure what is going on. The trouble is that our original Nuclear Power Experts are almost all dead and the generation that took over are at a loss to defend the Tritiated Water that can (and does) hurt our DNA because the complete delineation of DNA was only fully known in the last 20 years. They are stuck in the 20^th century innocence about Atomic Power (even before the discovery of Quarks and Gluon) and the Power Plant design is heavily dependent upon cooling water that is easily (and purposely) contaminated by the Tritiated Water.

     The problem is that a big country like America can do a lot of harm at the same time as doing a lot of good. This Author likes the good that we do. He thinks that the time has come for the Legislators to CLAMP DOWN on the DOE, the NRC and The President to CUT THIS STUFF OUT,--- NOW!

          Help is needed to spread the word that the Carolinas are being abused by the people who know about the releases of Radio-Active Tritiated Water that is released into the drinking water feeding Charlotte, Columbia and elsewhere. These insidious and harmful releases must be made because the nuclear Power plants must make Tritiated Water in order to make power. There is no practical way to stop it or store it and therefore it is diluted with fresh water to meet the EPA standard and released. The EPA standard is a foolish and arbitrary standard set entirely too high and since the average person does not know about the releases and the harm that can be done to their bodies as the Tritiated water becomes part of their bodies and releases the radiation to any nearby part of the individual.

        This information has been cleared for use by anybody within the Carolinas as a public service of the Author who also hopes to receive a small commission from the sale of LED Lights which will drastically reduce the amount of power needed to power the lighting load of the Carolinas and save all the citizens who install such lights a lot of money for many years. The objective is to lower the lighting load so much as to make the nuclear Power plants obsolete and then converted to fuel fired boilers as an additional benefit.

        The following editors and/or publishers are hereby requested to look into this situation, consult with the medical community and decide if legislative and/or legal action is required to stop these horrible releases.

      I hope that the Mayor of Columbia can lead the way to resolving if there is a threat upon the residents of the city from drinking Radio-Active Tritiated Water that arrives there from the dumping of effluents from 9 Atomic Reactors that contaminate the watershed north of the city starting at Lake Norman in North Carolina.

 Begging Duke Power to DO  THE RIGHT  THING

 ( Nothing will ever happen with Duke Power )

        It hasn’t been checked out yet if the top people at Duke Power drink a lot of Tritiated Water or not. Maybe that can account for the decision to construct 2 more new Atomic Reactors . Tritiated water that enters the body from drinking it, by eating food irrigated with Tritiated Water in the rain or drawn from Tritiated Water that was discharged from some of the Duke reactors (or some that enters the lungs from a warm water vapor in the shower) can cause all kind of trouble for the person involved.

       After the bad water gets in the body it can go anywhere and everywhere and become part of it and release the speedy, 6 Kev electrons that do harm when they are slowed down. In addition to causing “Cell Suicide” when a discharge occurs from a cell that then has a left over free radical, the actual electrons can surely send false signals in the brain (and to the brain) resulting in any kind of behavior that you might want to propose. As one can imagine with, say, 10,000  electric signals going back and forth between the brain and all parts of the body per second, one Does Not Need  a bunch of added electronic pulses confusing the nerves and memory cells and confounding the doctors, psychiatrists and business associates.

       In the Duke Board Room, after some twitching, itching and pain in the little toe on the right foot, Board member Mr. Nuke Like-A-Lot said “lets buy 2 more from Westinghouse, Bush will approve them.” This kind of jerky behavior can not be diagnosed. Mutations, cancer and other bodily harm of all kind that can result from radiation is one thing and the medical people can try to pinpoint the source of the problem and try to fix it. But this insidious internal, constant and undetectable kind of radiation that requires a $25,000 Dollar machine with a fluorescent cocktail to show up as a light flash when an electron is discharged from a water sample is not too useful once the Tritium gets into the body and does it’s harm. The local water company doesn’t know the Tritiated Water has been mixed in with their pure drinking water and doesn’t test for it. Ignorance Is Not Bliss.

      After looking at the financials and business model of Duke Energy (A Wonderful Organization and Company) it is quite clear that they do not need  another pain in the neck environmental disaster that leaves the public (their customers) with more sick and dead people as will as a bunch of Atomic Waste sitting around for millions of years on their property. You might not have heard Harry Reed say on 5/15/09 that we should leave the nuclear waste sit where it is and not have to move it “and save the tax payers millions of dollars”. If only he and people like Reed (however it is spelled) would have seriously said that kind of stuff the day before Mr. “Like-A-Lot” made his motion to the board, the new plant would have the chance of a snowball in hell of passing. Reed does not realize that it is the Tax Payers who have that horrible stuff sitting next to their back yard and nobody is asking them if they want it to sit there releasing stuff into the air and water forever.

       The Duke folks actually believe that the illustrious Federal Government will hold up their end of the bargain even though they don’t have a plan and never will.

       The Duke board has no respect for a million year cost of storing and protecting all that waste and don’t care because it is not their problem. People are trying to make it a Duke Energy Problem.

        This Author is begging Duke to cancel the 2 nukes with a public statement that they are going to convert their nukes to natural gas fired boilers and demand that the government to remove the waste from their property as agreed and bear the cost of returning the land to a safe condition during the life of Duke Power as it now exists. The Board must state that they will not leave a legacy of stupidity and bad behavior to Duke, it’s stockholders, customers and all future people.

        To all the Publishers and Editors in the Carolinas on the published list, this author suggests that they transmit this pleading to the Duke Board, to all the Duke customers and tell them that the 2 straws that broke the camel’s back are 1) the Tritiated Water that nobody knows about in all the water and 2) a Harry Reed rant that proves that the government (at least a Democrat) can’t be trusted to remove the waste.
